I meant to post this a few weeks ago, but I believe the humor is still there.
M came home for lunch one day and told me that she had done something pretty dumb at work. There are these little LED lights that you can put on your car or bike tire, and they light up when they move and or shake. So on the package of this LED light it says "try me" with a sub title "knock twice and wave" So M being tired and just arriving to work follows the instructions on the box of the LED light. She takes it shakes it twice puts it down and proceeds to wave her hand. She then says "well that doesn't work" talking about the LED light not working. She then realizes that she had just waved her hand and not the LED light, and therefore the LED wouldn't work.
Once she was done telling me this story I told her that she was silly and I chuckled a bit. I still think it was funny.

A cold for you, and a cold for you, and oh yes you too.
Well the warm weather has sunk it's teeth into our lovely climate out here. Yesterday down at SEATAC Airport it was a scorching 87 degrees, which incidentally broke the previous record from almost 90 years ago for this time of year. For those that live on the east coast of our fair country the last few days we've been having weather that you'd wish for on those 98 degree 100% humidity days. Well enough about the weather. On Wednesday M started feeling symptoms of a cold coming on. The next day I was feeling it to, and sure enough so did Adrian. Last night Adrian went to bed as usual but then he woke up around 2:30am this morning. M tried to sooth him but he couldn't lie down because he was pretty stuffy. So I took him from M and went out into the living room and rocked him for a bit. Fortunately he fell asleep and took him back to bed with me, but I couldn't lie down, I had to sit up and sleep so he could sleep. Adrian repaid me by sleeping until 8:00 this morning. M seems to have gotten the cold worse than I did, cause I seem to have just a stuffy nose, and Adrian is a bit stuffy. Which proves how important breast feeding is.

How big is Adrian? Thiiiiiiiiis Big!
Adrian had his four month check up today...which meant four more shots, but we also found out just how big our little boy has gotten. He's 18lbs. 14oz. and 27 1/2 inches long. which for those of you not so familiar with baby sizes is quite large for his age. in fact, he is above the 95th percentile for both weight and height.

Cowboy Bebop
A while back M told me about the most bizarre thing she had ever seen. One day she was out and about, and she saw this guy in a (duster = long cowboy coat) and a cowboy hat. This man was just walking down the street seeming like he was just mosying along, then all the sudden he takes off running like a bat out of heck. Now I'm not sure whether or not he continues on with this or just sprints in short increments, but it's just funny that it happens at all. Now I have seen this phenomenon first hand, and after it happened it took a second for what happened to set in. Then I snickered along with the other people on the bus who had seen it also. Just tonight we saw this urban cowboy walking along a road on our way home. Godspeed wondering stranger, may wings of Pegasus take you along your way.

It was really nice to have my dad out to visit. While he was out here he helped take care of some child proofing of cabinets and other odds and ends we haven't been able to do. While M was at work he watched Adrian so I could get some chores done and take showers. Even though he was only here for three days it seemed longer and it was really nice to see him. In June he, my mom, brother and grandmom will be out for my graduation from Bellingham Tech.
This was taken on Sunday at Boulevard Park near Fairhaven. We parked in Fairhaven and walked over to the park via the new pedestrian bridge on the water. While we where there we had lunch and sat on the shore and watched all the boats sail around the bay. Also while we where down there we ran into our friend Diego who was nice enough to take this picture for us.
