Where to begin....

Where to begin.....  It's been way too long since last I was last on this blog.  I'm sure it has to do a little with sentiment, and a need to share our life with our friends.  First I'd like to say I'm a true soft core Facebook fiend, with that let me open the first meeting of Facebook not so anonymous; my name is Brendon.  (Wait for everyone else to say, "Hi Brendon")  Hello everyone.  I'm here to say how much I've been on and using Facebook.  It's been almost five years now and it's getting to the point where I'm getting a little over saturated with that side of the world.  Don't get me wrong I enjoy checking up on friends long time past, seeing their family photos both wedding and baby.  I get a kick from George Takei's posts or more specifically his comments on his fans' posts.  I have gotten one or two of my "likes" posted through his page. Which has on some level has been quite exciting.  Since Facebook has come out of the proverbial closet it's gone the way of My Space.

To most of you this is absolutely no surprise.  They've got to make their money somehow right?  How can we argue right, I mean look how Über connected we all are now.  Just this afternoon Maralise's father and Adrian were going through a giant pen box seeing which pens worked and which didn't.  They came across one that had silver ink, and I commented that M used that pen to write letters to me while she was attending college.  That's right letters!  We wrote back and forth to each other for a few years actually, that and a combination of phone calls, but I digress.  Connectivity is everywhere and right now, right now at this very instant as I type I'm am cutting my Facebook usage.

All my friends can still contact me and I will see their messages, but I am going to re-embark on blogging.  It's a cathartic venture that will take you all on an exciting ride though our happenings.  With the boys growing up, M and I working on our careers I'd like to in a way document our life.  I know, I know it all sounds a bit wishy washy, but that's how I roll.

Catch you all out there in the digital ether.
