Berry picking with friends!

Yesterday M and Adrian went with Rainbow and Twain to go berry picking. The farm they went to was an organic farm. M brought home blue berries, rasberries and has already made 17 jars of jelly! A jelly making machine.

New Stroller (for mom and dad) I mean Adrain.

This is the new stroller we got a steal on. It's perfect for both M and me, it has an adjustable handle bar, large tires, dual braking system both foot and hand brake. It's Awsome!!!! Plus Adrian likes it too.

Luke's Birthday Party

These shots are from Luke's birthday party. Tom brought his guitar and played happy birthday and other children songs. Everyone loved it and had a great time. Especially the kids.

Look Over There!

Adrian peering out of a tower in this really big play ground near my parents place. I actually helped build this playground back when I was in high school. It's pretty neat to see it doing so well.

An Iron Giant

This was a engine that we found at the B & O Railroad Museum. We were fortunate to catch it while it was open. There were three engines in this building. This was the largest of the three. Here my Dad, M, Adrian and Carol stood in front of it to give a scale of how large the thing is. The water car held 25,000 gallons which is more than what is in our swimming pool. The largest wheel on this thing was just about 5 1/2 feet. When I first saw it, it took me a second to take in how massive it is.

Gardening 101

Gardening with Adrian one leaf at a time.

Work, Work, Work......

The giant Kelly roaming the vast back yard while Adrian re-landscapes the wood chips.

New Scoop

Adrian got Scoop from Uncle Bruce. He really likes it alot. The first few nights Adrian took Scoop to bed with him.

Animal Blocks 101

Adrian playing with the animal blocks that his Uncle Brian and Aunt Kathy got him. You can mix and match the head and tails on the various animal blocks. While I was working on the computer he shouted out ZEBRA! I turned around and he was holding out the zebra block all together, he was so proud of himself it was cute.

No fussing here.

After much fussing when M put him down for his nap the other day she checked in on him shorty after and found him like this.

Sleepy boy

One tired guy.

Lake Padden Family Walk

Here's M and Adrian after our walk around Lake Padden today. I am very much out of shape when it comes to walking. It was good for me. As you can see Adrian fell asleep 3/4 of the way around the lake. We had alot of fun and it gave M and I a chance to catch up with each other.

What is Up?!

As I'm sure many of you have wondered what we've been up to the last few months here's your answer. http://thegreathousehuntcont.blogspot.com/ (Our realestate blog of all the homes we'll be looking at) M and I have started the process of buying a home. Now you might be wondering how we can afford a home? Well we are going through the Kulshan Community Land Trust. http://www.kclt.org/ (click here to find out more about the KCLT) Basically they have access to grant money for first time home buyers who fit in a certain financial bracket. About a year ago now M and I took a first time home buyer workshop through the KCLT which is actually one of the steps in the process for the KCLT. Currently we are in the middle of the application process. The next step is to wait to hear from them after they receive M's income verification sheet through her work. Once the KCLT gets that they will contact us and let us now how much we're eligible for. Once we know that then we can officially start looking for homes and get our selves a real estate agent. We technically have one now but we just need to make it offical through the KCLT. I'll tell you it's all very exciting, but to the piont where we don't want to get too set on a certian house at this stage in the game. When we get closer we'll let the world know.

Smile!!!!

Since I have been bombarded with requests to post new pictures of the boy I have complied. I took one picture and he told me "more!" So I took another on and he said "MORE" and so I did for four more times. The last one being this one, which as I told Adrian is the best one. He replied OK. A man of little words and tells you whats on his mind without being afraid of being a straight shooter.

Mother & Son

Recently Adrian has not been wanting to take a nap, so after he  finished eating he fell asleep in his chair.  This meant M had to change his clothes and his diaper while he was asleep.  After she was done they both sat in the rocking chair and dozed off.  It was the perfect photo op.  As of now M dosen't know I took this picture he, he, he.....  So of course I had to fancy it up a bit by putting it on a larger canvas and gave the inner picture a drop shadow so it would have some depth.

Shadow Play

Not too bad for shooting from the hip.  If you look carefully Adrian is at the very top of the frame running to play amongst the trees.

The perfect placement.

I think I'll put the bus here.  Adrian and I where playing in the trees running and chasing each other around.

Seagull, wheregull?!

Taken at Boulevard the other day.

A new Me?!

Yesterday I was feeling adventurous with shaving.
The initial thrill only lasts a few seconds and then there
was nothing.  The thrill I was looking for was over as
soon as it had started.  The last time I did this my own
son didn't recognize me, granted he was only a few
months old but still.  It had been almost two years since
I was last clean shaven and now I remember why.........

Adrian go tup early this morning so I put him in his new overalls from his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Brian.

Adrian by the end of the night was exhausted.  When M, Carol and I went to bed we checked in on the boy and found that he had fallen asleep on the couch amongst the pillows.

Adrian getting help unwrapping his presents from Hannah, John and Lucas.

Alex (in the moose hat) was pushing Twain and Adrian around on Adrian's tricycle.  They all where having a blastand it was quite qute.

Adrian enjoying his new fold up chair he got from Alex, Jan and Keith.

Adrian starting to get into unwraping his presents.  It took him a couple of times to start getting into unwrapping them, but he got it.

Here his Adrian with his friend Alex.

We had two parties yesterday.  The first one we held was earlier in the day and was for Adrian's friends.  The second one we had the older people over.  He had a blast all day.
